Our biggest project of the year, the participatory budget, ends today as voting closes. We will still have to work on it, of course, but most of the work is done for this year. These are the countdown creatives.
My favourite is the „teamwork” dinosaur, I have wanted to use it somewhere for a long time. As fate would have it, today I finally got to put it on the roof of a block of flats in the 8th district <3.
Postscript:
The communications manager thought it was too dystopian, so it was cancelled. This reminds me of another favourite video I made for Helsinki, which was also blocked for strange reasons, so I’ll post it here.

We replaced the billboards on Teleki Square again, yay.
There is this My Józsefváros series of programmes. When I made the figure for it, the first answer I got was: Viktor, we didn’t know this side of you until now. I tried to do something cute. The figure is called ENJO, and the special thing about it is that its head is shaped like Józsefváros. This video is a trailer for the next event.
I love this ice cream. This is one of the last collaborations with the Buda Municipality, as it’s at the point where the opposition municipality has run out of money for creative design. Too bad, it was nice to produce these materials.
The Our Common Power conference is a direct continuation of the previous Our Common City conference. I love it when it comes time to do this design every two years, because I’ve developed a habit of using some kind of printing solution.
Although I have already tried to involve my little friends, the insects, in the projections, I feel this was a step up. The locusts in the brutalist housing estates looked wonderful.
After last year’s album launch, I felt it was time to rethink and revisit these projections. I felt that we had closed something there and that I needed to return to imagining a larger narrative arc to these events. That even though it’s basically a concert, I need to find that story that adds to it at the back and tells something else. That was the first part of it.
Things are coming in slowly from the printers. Today the foam boards for the participation points arrived, and this year’s brochure has arrived. We’re just waiting for the banners, booths, roll ups, badges, billboards, stickers, card calendars, and who knows what else. But at least there will be continuous content!
